today at school i tried to DL my computer club/AV  video editing program but it wouldnt allow me so i can do the editing on the new rig my dad build with me

 

is there any light editing program for free on the yahoo/google

 

i cant do my video editing for my homework unless i spend like $200...

 

can anyone help?

Lightworks is awesome but it's really hard to use if you are a noob to the subject.

Windows Movie Maker isn't bad

There are 30 day trials from multiple bigger software without any huge limitations.

You could install the trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro (that's what I use when I need to do video editing) but I've heard Sony Vegas is a good alternative. It's definitely better than Windows Movie Maker.
