It might but that depends on your settings, including the subtimings and such. I am no expert and have so far just left my RAM at XMP as well, although I am planning on manually OCing it at some point in the future, if I find time to dig into everything a bit more. I might be able to help more then.

That said, the RAM is not posting any issues and I am suprised it does not POST, so it really feels like a Windows problem and you said that just setting it to 2133 did not help either, right?

right.

i checked the asrock motherboard's website again and the ram was not on the list

the mobo doesn't support the cpu apprently

so i swapped the rams on the system and now it's running pretty well.

i have a msi b760m-a ddr4 wifi mobo

and i checked it's site for memory qvl and the msi mobo supports it but the asrock doesn't which is weird, either way tnx for the help馃檶

specs :

cpu : i3 12100f

graphic card : rtx 3050 zotac

mobo : asrock b760m pro rs ddr4

psu :聽cooler master g600 gold

ram : klevv cras x 3600mhz cl18 _ 2 x 16Gb

system crashes and reboot after playing games like The last of us and cyberpunk

the ram sticks are in a2 b2 slots , i 聽put it into a1 b3 聽slots, it was fine for an hour untill it crashed and reboot again

i tried everything : clean gpu driver uninstall and installing the latest driver , checking ram health with memtest 86 and there was no problem

i tested single sticks in a1 b2 a2 b2 slots one at a time and there was no crashing

i even put to sticks in a1 a2 and then b1 b2 slots . apparently it only crashes on dual channel mode聽

then i replaced ram with 2 脳 8gb corsair vengance 3200mhz cl16 and enabled xmp and there were no crashes so i thought maybe the xmp is the problem or the cpu can't handle 3600 mhz on klevv ram

so i tested it at 2133 mhz and 3200mhz but it still crashes!

does anyone know what is the problem with my pc?

It sounds like your CPU can handle the chips on the Corsair RAM, but not the Klevv. Hardware is weird like that sometimes, but that is why QVL lists exist (even though I have had very good luck with ignoring them in the past).

I will find your Laptop thread and I will recommend an ITX build instead

Sure would be neat if there was something useful here, eh?

i checked the list and ram is compatible!

could it be another problem?

There is a miriad of other possible problems, yes. Listing and chasing them all down is the bigger issue.

We can probably discount pin/pad damage/improper insertion because you moved the RAM a bunch and the other brand works.

That leaves the motherboard not playing nicely (very unlikely, given that it is on the QVL), bad CPU seating (very unlikely, since the other RAM works).

It would pretty much be software at this point AFAIK, do you have a spare drive to install a clean OS on to try out?

i've tested it with memtest86 and as you can see bellow it didn't find any error

my mobo is asrock and the bios xmp is a bit weird

do you think manualy setting the ram on 3200 cl16 timing might help?
