I bought one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201089482606

Now, the item arrived fine and works as it should and is reducing the humidity in my room. The power brick however is getting extremely hot to the touch and sparks whenever it is moved. Being worried it could be harmful i have turned it off and unplugged it. Now, with it being from ebay. Should i request that they just send a replacement power brick or replace the whole unit? It's only the power pack that seems to be faulty as the actual unit is working great.

Sparks whenever its moved?.... what?! that's a serious issue you should get checked out. I'd ask em to send you a new power brick.

It seems to also play havoc with my powerline adapters, whenever it's on it seems to cause a large amount of interference which causes near complete disconnection on my PC.
