@alexej1 That sounds like just more than enough. The i7 3820 doesn't overclock that much does it? it isn't part of the K edition of Sandy Bridge-E processors like the 3930K or 3960X.

I would get a hold of 2 good static pressure fans i.e. Noctua NF-F14. I would doubt you need to use a fan to dissipate the 120mm radiator since the passive airflow in your case will be enough.

Kind of pushing it, I would go for two 240mm's.

But if you actually read the post (you never do that), you would notice that he can only fit the 280mm + 120mm radiators.

Ontopic: 280mm + 120mm will be just fine, but I would try to get +15fpi radiator for that.

Doesn't matter.

He could be using a shoe box for all I care, my answer would be the same. The components are what is relevant.

Take your sass elsewhere.

Why even bother posting then?

Because

The components are what is relevant.

so I posted what he should use based on his components.

Note that an equivalent surface area can be substituted for standard 30mm rads.

If you failed to understand completely what I meant by my original response, you could interpret it as:

"what I think about your choices is that it is just enough to work, you should obtain more radiator space somehow"
