Ok well let me start by saying hello to everyone and i appreciate you taking a look at my post. Now I'm in a bit of a bind because i am looking to build a new gaming pc but i don't really know what parts to use. My friend said he would help me build it but i had to get the parts so thats what i am now trying to do. Im looking to spend around $700 i mean i could go over but that would be ideal i guess, and thats on the computer don't worry about os or peripherals. I also would prefer to go intel but am open to amd. umm i think that would be it i hope this is possible if anyone could help me that would be awesome because i don't have much knowledge about this.

Going $100 over budget will give you much, and I mean much better performance by allowing you to go with Intel and a 770.

If you don't live near a Microcenter, you can use price match on Staples.com to pick up the i5-4670k + Z87 motherboard for $245 <-- Go to the bottom left of this page to find the bundle deal.  If you live near a Microcenter, pick it up in store.
