Throwing price aside for a second, what is less risky?

hanouzz

Should I just get better-looking PSU cables or cable extensions?
Also RM750e or RM750x?

Rm750x cause 10 year warranty, also the rm750e apparentlu has a loud fan

Outside of those two however id look for an 850w or 1000w cause you are probably overpaying for both and a decent 850w with a 10 year warranty is the same price if not lower than that rm750x

As for psu cables i see nothing wrong with extensions but id assume its best to get better cables instead of an extension if you dont need extra long cables

Speaking of which i forgot cable extensions existed and never considered em for my testbench so maybe ill buy some for the 8 pin eps and 24 pin just so i dont have to deal with the cables being short (not that short but can cause annoyances from time to time)

Extensions are reusable and not that risky - just get good ones, I use Antec extensions and they work fine

RM750e is technically better, esp. the ATX3.0 version , but a good bit louder

Both are good tho
