Folding@Home - I guess someone is GPU folding on an M2 Pro?

So unless there is a bug on the FOLDING.LAR.SYSTEMS site, I guess someone is GPU folding on an Apple silicon chip?

If anyone knows what they are doing, I own an M3 Max Macbook Pro. 

Would be curious to try it on that.

Considering you are looking at CPU PPDs, no.

Lol, true. Still weird though. When I originally tested it got like 300k on average across all cores. Limiting the number of logical cores to the number of performance cores in the advanced settings didn't seem to help.

Per core efficiency the M2 might be higher but brute force it isn't 10X better than a 7950X.   There is some GPU love going on in there.
