Cable compatibility Seasonic Focus Platinum vs. Asus Strix Gold 550W

Lurking

In my main rig I have a SEASONIC FOCUS PLUS 550W PLATINUM

I also have two ASUS ROG Strix 550W Gold.

Note that the Seasonic is Platinum and the Asus is Gold as that may make a difference. I was told that PSU is based on the Focus. At the time the above statement was made, i hadn't bought them and the person helping me choosing wasn't aware i would buy an asus Gold and a Seasonic Platinum, so that statement may not apply.

For some trouble-shooting I like to swap PSUs around. I wonder if the cable-plug and pins are the very same pattern so that I only have to swap the PSU and not the cables? Is there a reliable way to find out?

i assume if they are not, it could be catastrophic?

I know, next time I just buy the very same PSU models to make life easier. But I bought those PSUs at different times. They all have 10 year warranty, sot hat is what it is now for a few years.
