i had overheating problems early(ish) 2023 until i upgraded some parts (cpu, aio, mobo) and it was all solved, until recently, my cpu(r9 5900x) started to have overheating problems, where i turn the pc on and it is on 90c and rises to 110 where it crashes in a minute or two. i can feel the vibrations in the pump but cannot feel air coming from the top of the radiator, i cleaned the radiator with compressed air and reapplied thermal paste but i am still having the problem, should i just buy a new cooler or is there an easier fix?

Are the tubes coming out of the AIO warm to the touch or cold?  If they are cold then water is not being circulated and the pump is either faulty or the loop is clogged.

To add on to @Hinjima have you checked if your fans are spinning since you say you cant feel air

fans are definitely spinning, just cant feel airflow

It might take a minute or two for the tubes to heat up but at 90-100c it shouldn't be that slow.

Slightly warm means there is some circulation however. But maybe not enough.

i can feel the vibration on only one of the tubes now, the one i cant feel it on is cold

would you suggest buying a other aio or a block cooler, this would be the third aio i buy in 3 years

I hate AIO's because of all the issues they can have. I owned one with my 9900k and I will never ever buy an AIO again.  I like the look of a beefy AirCooler as well 🙂

AirCoolers are sufficient unless you are running a 14900k.

The Peerless Assassin SE 120 is a great AirCooler and it comes in different colors, like white for you build 🙂

DeepCool also has a nice white AK620.

AirCoolers are extremely reliable, most dual tower coolers have great noise levels ( I can't even hear my NH-D15 with my 7700x ) and will easily work with 1 fan if one fan fails, you can still use the PC while getting a new one.. That being said, in my 25 years of PC building I have never seen a fan fail.

The 5900X at stock is very easy to cool, if you want to tune it a bit I would suggest a PS120 EVO, or an FC140 instead of the PA120. I have about 5 months run time on my current Thermalright AIO, performance is still chart topping I would say.

AMD R9 9900X | Thermalright FW Pro Black, 3x TL-B12E | Asus Strix X670E -F | 64GB G.Skill 6000C26
