Does overclocking remain after shutdown or closing of app ?

I have a GTX 1050ti OC Edition from ASUS.. 
I use GPU Tweak 2 app .. i set the graphic card settings to overclock profile when I installed windows 2 years ago.. haven't opened the GPu tweak app since then as I thought the settings are applied unless changed again but now I am wondering if those settings are reset when PC is turned off  or when the app is closed .. 

please tell me how it works ..

I would imagine (I never used it myself) the app should have the option somewhere to save the settings, and load automatically when you start the system.

 

I recommend afterburner instead of that one. That said, I don't really think you're gonna gain a whole lot from OCing a 1050 ti. I can't imagine you being able to play recent games all that well with it. I guess it could help stay at 60 fps with low settings depending on whichever game you're playing.

The settings are only applied as the application is running. If the application crashes or you close it, the settings are no longer applied.
