Hello LTT Community,

I'm attempting at doing my first DIY PC Case and hoped that the community could provide some context regarding some issue that I'm facing.

To sum up the design of the case, I'm looking towards doing an ITX DIY PC case made of wood. The theme itself is based on Legend of Zelda and I'm starting from scratch creating the drafting for it.

My questions today if anyone would be kind to answer them are the following:

1. Are there any suppliers that someone could recommend for Power button, PSU bracket, plate to attach fans & mesh cover/filters?

2. Would anyone recommend a good place that would have the template for ITX board layout + I/O Ports?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to inquire regarding for this information.

Thank you!

1. Any button that clicks from aliexpress, amazon,... literally anything that clicks and has 2 cables thats all you need

Bracket. Just a piece of wood it screws in to. Or canibalize a case or whatever.

Fans. Drill holes in wood and attach

You dont need that. Or if ya wan protect fans just fsn guards from amazon

2. Google atx standard mounting holes. You only need standoffs nothing else

Io sizes and all the rest is in thay spec too

Thank you, I was thinking that myself as well for the power button since the design I'm using to power it on, just needs to be able to be pushed in the interior of the case.

Ideally, the reason for a bracket for the fans was because I'm thinking of making a chassis that can be removable from the case itself to work on similar to some ITX designs you see out there by some manufacturer. I'm still contemplating on how to set this up though.

Yeah I'd imagine all I'd need is just stand-off and a simple template is all I need, thank you, I appreciate the confirmation regarding that.

Some of the large case manufacturers sell replacement parts like front panel i/o, fan / radiator brackets, etc. Check Corsair, Phanteks, and Fractal Design web site.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Canibilize a case and build a new shell for it? Honestly by far the easiest way to do this and how a lot of case modding starts/ are done
