How to enable system choice option dual boot Win7,Win10 on 2 separate sdds

Gs11

I have Windows 7 on an old SATA SSD 2.5 drive.

I installed Win 10 from a pendrive on the new NVMe.

Asus Strix Z270 E-gaming motherboard.

How to dual boot Win7 and Win10 on two separate physical drives - SSD, so that you can choose the system when turning on.

In the BIOS, I can only manually change the boot priority or select override boot and boot the selected system.

When choosing the boot order, for the Nvme disk with Win10 there is:

-windows boot manager Lexar Nvme

- just the usual name Lexar Nvme

It's just that no matter what I choose, the first thing that starts is Win10 from the NVMe disk.

If I set the old SATA 2.5 to Win 7, Win 7 will turn on first.

None of the combinations enable system selection.

Due to the fact that both systems are on different physical disks, they do not "see" each other in disk management or boot options from Windows.

Set your Win10 ssd as preferred boot device. Then use easyBCD to add win7 to the Win10 boot manager. Rebooting should present you the Windows boot manager giving you the choice of Win7 or Win10.
