Hey All! I‘m currently looking for advice on upgrading my graphics card for better performance. At the moment im only planning to play games at 1080p with keeping 1440p as a possible option in the future. I‘ve already looked at plenty of options at my price point (250-350), including AMD, Nvidia and even Intel. Is it worth considering the A770 as an option or should I rather go the traditional way by going with AMD at that price. I should also add that I‘m from Europe and the average power consumption shouldn‘t be too high.

My current system:

Ryzen 5 5600x

GTX 1660

B550 Gaming Plus

EVGA 550W Gold

32GB DDR4-3600

Would love to hear any advice!

not at 250-350 usd cuz you can get a used 6800 or new 6700 xt for that money which are both better by quite a margin

You could go 1440p with either gpu above but there would be less of a bottleneck at 1080p with the 6700 xt

I would go for a 6700xt at that price point. Unless you're going to use it more for productivity work, the A770 just doesn't make much sense in a gaming build when the 6700xt exists, and a 6700xt will be perfect in that build. Save yourself the headache of Intel GPU driver issues.

If it's a good unit it'll be fine. I would get the 6700 xt either way since it's new (that's just how i am)
