memory problems

Ive recently built a new computer (first build)

4070ti

AMD Ryzen 5900x

Trident Z Neo 3600 mhz cl16 2x16gb

 

All components working fine except memory, i have a 32gb kit of Trident z which when i open google or any game atleast once a day i get errors saying not enough memory, or my games crash, but afterwards works fine until the next day.

When i get the memory errors i check task manager and only shows 25% usage write after the crash, i also did a windows memory check and was told there was nothing wrong , so i dont know what to assume, but i feel that  either too much memory is being dedicated to a task or windows cant access the whole memory capacity

Edit: for clarification after a crash the commited memory usually a high number likes 70/85.gb but the in use compressed memory remains low

We'd need to see memory usage right before the crash. I would consider leaving task manager open, switched to details and sorted by memory usage. Then just use your computer as normal, see if any program starts to use more and more memory.

i don't think overcommitting like this is normal? usually a small overcommit is fine, like 33GB committed on a 32GB kit, but 85G?!

 

what is causing this massive overcommit?

i checked and apparently that can be normal with commited memory as its possibly partioned some of my ssd but i didnt manualy do that so im not sure @RollinLower
