That's one of the least memory sensitive chips on AM4, so you're not likely to notice much of a difference. 

 

Still, it's $1. You might as well. 

Finishing build, was originally just going to be an upgrade, but got a great deal on a B550 black Friday so old system is going to roommate to get into PC gaming.

 

Given these two kits, is there a benefit to going to the 3600 kit? I know that higher frequency and tighter timings are better but will I notice a difference?

 

 

Games: Cities skylines, FH 4, various other low stress games

R5 5600

ASROCK Phantom gaming 4 AC

GTX 1080

What CPU are you going to use? Different CPUs scale differently with memory, so some will be more noticeable with the faster memory speed than others. 

 

That said, the difference is $1. You might as well get the faster kit if that's the difference in price.
