Trying to get back into folding. But 13 days for one work unit it a bit outrageous.

don't forget the classic "are you overclocking?"

it might be better if you go into the actual folding client on your computer, the advanced view and see what's going on there instead of using the web client, and remove the advanced/beta flag, it might be a bad unit.

Tbh, all the times I've OC'd things whilst folding/ mining I've never had issues, I'm not quite sure why people always ask that question lol xD

Tried without flags. I get 37 days per work unit.

Stock clock speeds, stock voltages. Still nothing.

It's more than likely an issue on your side, and not something on the side of Folding@Home.

My 780 is working just fine. Getting about 300K PPD

300K PPD on one 780?

That's what it was saying the other day. Now it's only saying 50K PPD, so maybe it was just a bug.

I used to get 130K PPD

stock clocks, 954 Mhz with the boost

It was definitely something with wu.

After 297252234 tries, I've got a proper wu.

still only getting 50k

but I'll take that over 371 ppd

hopefully once this work unit is complete, I'll get some better ones

Thats quite the pleasant bug

And have you tried turning it off and then back on again? (I say this half joking half serious)

did you try and receive new units after removing the advanced flag? the advanced flag basically amounts to you saying you want to receive late stage beta units when they are available, still in testing nonetheless, that means there is a chance you could receive some wonky work units that don't work exactly as they should or as you expect them to. '

you could check out the gpu usage aswell to see if the gpu is working stable with a fairly constant high gpu usage as it should.

As @tobben says - no one should be using the BETA or ADVANCED flags or you will get weird WU's that take a LONG time or won't - but don't actually reward any points.

Also, deleting and re-adding a slot won't get rid of the WU's. It will still be there waiting for you. You need to delete the WU itself.

Stop FAH

Start - Programs - Folding Client - Data Directory shortcut

Now, go into the Work folder. You should see some folders that are numbers. These correspond to the Slot number. Go into the one for your GPU and delete everything in it.

Start FAH and it will download new WU.

BUT - do not do this very often. You will trash you stats and eventually PANDE can ban your account if you do this to much. Happened a lot when Core17 first came out and people trying to cherry pick.

Turned out to be a driver issue, and yes, I was properly deleting the work units after removing the flags.

I'm using 327.23 WHQL, and I'm getting ~120k PPD while the PC is in use and ~130k PPD when the PC is not in use. Stock settings on a reference 780, 954 MHz, no flags other than next-unit-percentage = 100.
