Adobe & WoW build advice...

Go to solution Solved by Shimejii,

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/jNK8xH I disagree with the above list since you dont need a 4090, especially with its massive price increase recently. Adobe prefers intel still, and id say just go with the 14700k. Keep in mind 4080 Super comes out next month, its probably worth waiting to see when it launches. If you are paying the same price ish and getting the extra 5%ish or so performance you may as well.

Budget (including currency): ~$4k | CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Creative Cloud (Mainly Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Substance) & WoW/light, lame gaming

Other details I have nothing other than a total trash Asus ROG g73JW laptop (with no battery) & my work 2021 MacBook M1 Max...

I'm hoping I can get a bit of build advice - I mainly use my machines for photo editing, rendering and I'm hoping for a little MMO gaming. I'd love to get into something new, other than may work computer. I need to build something that can readily edit 60+MP images from my Sony a7Rv and I'd love to have something that will max out WoW.

I'm mainly a console player - so I don't imagine that I'll need much more from the gaming perspective - this is more about Adobe workflow and maxing out rendering as much as possible. I need to land on a full build along with a single, great & colour-accurate, display. I may use my existing Samsung 1080 monitor as a second (mainly toolbar) display.

I'm totally happy with the other peripherals I have and my budget is a little flexible - 4k was sort of an arbitrary figure, but I'd love to be as budget conscious as possible.

Do your best guys... If it helps, I'm in NS, Canada and would love to shop as local as possible. Timing for this build is the next month or so... Thanks in advance.
