Looking for mic recommendations

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read my request!

As the title says, we need some mic recommendations. My girlfriend and I have a shared gaming room, and when we're on Discord, we can hear ourselves through each other's microphones. We're wondering if there are specific microphone types or settings that might help minimize this issue.


Our current setup is:
- AT2040 with a Behringer U-Phoria UMC22
- HyperX Solocast.
We are sitting side by side with a separation of 1.5 meters.
 

We haven't decided on the budget yet, but an approximate 500 to 600 USD max for each of us.
