No network adapters

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

Figure out the REVISION of your motherboard.  There's 3 different revisions  1.0,  1.1 and 1.2

The revision is written on the box or on the actual motherboard in the bottom left corner, example :

image.png.521c2bb38a033a02e033d4270582020f.png

see here it says ^^^^ rev 1.0 ^^^^

Expand the chipset section  https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AORUS-PRO-X/support#support-dl-driver-chipset

, and from there at the very least you need  Intel Chipset Device Software , which is around 3.3 MB  - everything else shouldn't prevent network card from working and can be installed afterwards.

Expand the LAN section, and download the Realtek drivers , for example for revision 1.2 there

Realtek LAN Driver OS: Windows 11 64bit  [11.13.0424.2023] 4.51 MB Sep 07, 2023 Download
Realtek LAN Driver OS: Windows 10 64bit [10.065.0421.2023] 4.53 MB Sep 07, 2023 Download
Realtek LAN Preinstall driver OS: Windows 11 64bit [B23.02.23.01] 0.27 MB Feb 24, 2023

The LAN preinstall is probably not needed, but you never know.

I can't get any internet and there are no network adapters showing up how to fix this problem?
I have updated my bios and I also tried downloading the Realtek LAN Driver that I found on the motherboard site, but it will just say "no Inten Network Connections found on this computer. No driver were installed

Download the drivers and put them on a usb stick , you can download them on a smartphone and connect your phone using a usb cable to the computer

You need to download the chipset drivers and the network card drivers.. after that you can download the rest using your computer.

In Device Manager you can click update driver and then select find on computer. Some computers will list the driver that came preinstalled. Not all computers will have that though.

Can you send any links?
I have tried to download the intel driver but it won't let me https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18293/intel-network-adapter-driver-for-windows-10.html

Also did these https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AORUS-PRO-X/support#support-dl-driver-lan

Could it be that my networkcard is not working, the board comes with a small adapter that was preinstalled

Thank you I was 100% I already did that but i tried again and it just started to work.... Thanks,
i got another question if you don't mind the rev 1.0 which I have uses the "MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 MT7927, RZ738" for the wireless communication. And on mediatek  website it only listed for windows 11. so that would mean that the wifi only works on windows 11 right?

"Wi-Fi 7 features require Windows 11 SV3 to function properly. (There is no support driver for Windows 10)"

Thats from Gigabytes website so it appears so.

Intel might be bringing Win10 support for their modules next year, but not sure if others will follow suit:
