even 500 would be fine...

remember the EVGA hadron case features a 500W PSU and it works with a titan

I'm getting an RM series PSU and am not sure about the "zero fan mode" thing - I want my system to be quiet even while gaming - that's why I'm getting an RM series in the first place :(

Like others mentioned get a good quality psu, 80 plus bronze minimum

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

It will be good if you get one that isn't a piece of crap.

You're good. Just get one thats good quality. I would prefer to have a little more headroom myself, but that's just me.

It'll be quiet. The zero fan mode is only under low loads, when it's working hard the fan will kick on. Corsair makes good stuff. Based on the seasonic platform.

But do I need 650W or is a 550W RM series enough ??

The rm450 is already more than enough.
