Thank you,

XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT CORE 12GB DDR6 SPEEDSTER SWFT309 got new for US$299, is it a good quality cards ?

Yeah, that's a fine card, but it's not really worth the premium over the Challenger.

Hi all,

can you guys suggest me which GPU should i buy for my setup

R5 7500f

Gskill 32Gb memory.

And maximum GPU series for not bottlenecking my CPU?

Currently i'm targeting 6600xt or used 6700xt.
is used GPU (especially mining) good ? what should i check for that before i buy it ?

Thanks

Most GPUs would do just fine. I'd be happy throwing a 4070 Ti/ 7900 XT in that system with no real qualms, so a 6700 XT will be plenty fed by it for the average game.

I'm fine with used cards, and used mining cards I'm usually OK with. I tend to avoid mining 3080/3090s, just because the VRAM on those cards usually ends up a bit degraded, though for everything else they're perfectly accurate. My personal system has only ever had one brand new GPU installed in it (2 if you count a sealed card bought from some guy on Craigslist as "new") and I've never had a card death, after at least 10 cards going through there.

Generally, if you can try to see it working before purchasing it. That's not always possible, but if you can see a video of it running some sort of benchmark that would be fine (I like Time Spy, though it's personal preference what you use) to see that the fans work, it boosts correctly, it doesn't artifact, and it performs as it should. If the fans don't work, still consider it (especially if it's a mining card, they're the most likely thing to fail on a mining card and they're usually pretty easy to swap) though try to talk them down, but everything else I'd call deal breakers and move onto the next card, there should be plenty of them to choose from that aren't faulty.

Hi, thank you for the fast response.

i was busy yesterday.

Anyway, i got some list :
Asrock taichi Rx 6800 xt, used 3 years for video editing (at least he said that) around US$ 356

Asrock challenger rx 6700 xt 12G, used for video editing US$ 240 (warranty till Jan'24)

Sapphire pulse Rx 6650xt 8Gb gddr6, new US$ 233

MSI Gaming X rx 6600xt, used US$220 (warranty till Aug'24)

for the taichi, that a little bit over my budget. i plan to spend it for other peripheral or nvme.

These are the two I'd look at as they are the best values (a 6700 XT is a fair bit faster than a 6600 XT for only ~$10 more, and the 6800 XT is quite a bit step up rom the 6700 XT). I'd personally try to swing for the 6800 XT if you can, though if you do want to spend more on peripherals I wouldn't fault you for going 6700 XT instead.

are asrock challenger & taichi are a good quality build or in the 4 list i mention above ?
i meant for the vram, durability, pci-e links.
Also if i push to 6800xt, is my PSU good enough to handle it ? Corsair HX 750.

i got 4 drives atm, and will add new AIO for CPU later.

Yeah, the Challenger and Taichi are both good quality cards. Your PSU should be able to handle the 6800 XT.
