Ryzen Overclock

Hello everyone

So I have a Tuf Gaming mobo B450 with a Ryzen cpu

I overclocked my cpu to 4Ghz and its fine and stable...

The thing is it's running at 4Ghz all the time even when I am not doing anything at all and the cpu is at 1% usage...

Is there something I am missing here ? I mean I want to go to 4Ghz when needed ofc but not when I am opening a folder

In other words is there a way to keep the base speed and just tweak the max boost when needed (gaming for example)

Which one? They all behave very differently when you try to overclock them, though admittedly anything other than Ryzen 1000/2000 you should just enable PBO and let that handle everything.
