Budget (including currency): £800

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Sims 3, Sims 4 (and all of the expansion packs)

I believe they might get into other games like sims, that are maybe more demanding once they get used to having a good computer.

Definititly not any first person shooters but story driven games maybe.

Other details :

This build is for my mother, she has only ever had terrible computers and played sims. Game recommendations based on someone who likes sims and the villagers would be welcome.

She's worried it may break so components that offer a 3 year warranty are massively preferred.

She's also worried about the energy consumption, which is why I included a gold ATX power supply, but in all honesty I don't know if it's much better than  bronze, or if it be worth getting a better one.

She's playing on a 60hz TV (I know...)

Sound bar recommendations, she's currently looking to spend £60 but I could convince her to spend around £120 if it's worth it, any recommendations would be appreciated.

This is what I'm currently thinking:

+ a tb ssd or smtg similar

Then wait until they cross that rubicon. Once they show interest in other games that are going to be more intensive, build them a new PC or upgrade from here, Zen 3 is still pretty feasible right now.
