hey ive put together a brand new pc and when im gaming im having a weird problem....

i play most games with mouse and keyboard but since i came from ps4 when i play competitive games i like to use controller. my controller worked fine with another pc but with my new one its not working properly.

the problem is, "imagine your playing a game like gta or something, and the controller disconnects/goes flat when your running forwards. well even though there is no input from the controller the character keeps running forwards because that was the last input when it disconnected. whats even more strange is that when its connected to the pc the controller lights a pale blue but when it connects to a game it goes green, and when the controller gliches it stays green meaning it doesnt disconnect" thats whats happening to mine but ive tried a few trouble shoots and cant find the issue,  i thought at first it was a wireless problem but it still occurs when its plugged in so idk whats happening...

for any ideas ive already tried reconnecting the controller, reconfigure in steam, unplugging the extender (the controller wouldnt connect at all with the extender unplugged) turning the pc off and on again

maybe the mobo wifi/bluetooth patch is weird but any ideas will be appreciated

just in case its a spec issue my specs are

i7 13700k

1tb 990 pro nvme

4070

ddr5 gigabyte auroras elite z760 mobo

ddr5 5600 fury vengeance

Still could try updating it, could be a compatibility issue of sorts, other than that I'm not sure what else it could be
