my gpu severely under performance

so I tried to play "The Finals" with friends but I only got 15 fps on avg and like 2fps at the lowest. I've seen ppl on YT getting 70 fps on average with the same GPU as me...
how do I make my GPU perform better?

Gpu:  1060 3gb
Cpu: i7 8700

What resolution, how much ram, what does your cooling situation look like, are you running anything else in the background? We need more info!

i play at 1920 x 1080
16 GB RAM (idk the speed)
air cooling with the one that came in the box
vesktop is running at the bg (vesktop is a modded discord client)
I use fiber optic cable for internet 

if u need more info feel free to ask i dont think i missed somethin

I know this sounds stupid but if you haven't already, try restarting your PC. If that doesn't work, open task manager and check to see if there is anything hogging resources. Also, what power supply do you have?

restarting the pc doesn't help...I don't know what PSU I have how do I check?
I think i should just overclock my pc but I do not know how..  would appreciate some help

Yeah that won't help. Have you checked temperature of the CPU and GPU while playing? Download HWinfo64 and run it in the background while playing (any game), choose show sensors only when launching the program. Also try shutting down vesktop/vencord. there's a fair chance your CPU is hot and is throttling clock speeds.
