Is 480p worth it?

I'm trying to decide between two different 22" PC monitors, one is 480p with netflix access, wifi, and an atm slot on the side. The other is 1080p but costs the same. PLZ HELP

A monitor doesn't give any access to netflix or wifi. That's what you have a PC/TV/Tablet/Phone for. 1080p is WAY better than 480p. Always get it.

The beauty of Crysis 3 is the amazing textures, the awesome graphics and those only come with 1080p. In this day and age gaming under 1080p is rare and simply shouldn't be done (unless you're running an integrated processor.) What you've been told is either nonsense or you didn't understand it correctly, but for screens you should only look at a couple of things:

 

Resolution

Size (inches/CM)

Response time (anything around or under 5 is good for gaming)

Contrast

Refresh rate. (Hz)

Those are the main things. Don't look at anything else.

i don't suggest that, because it wont be, as nVidia Says," the way it's meant to be played", you wont be getting the full experience out of the game, C3 is made for ultra details 1080p or even 4K res for the ultimate Gaming experience

You should save your money and buy a 240p monitor with the same features instead. The difference between 240p and 480p is negligible.
