Looking for a 6th generation mobo 1155 64gb ram atx

Go to solution Solved by Tetras,

Z170, H170, B150 or Z270, B250 (7th, but supports 6th).

The socket is 1151v1 by the way, not 1155.

I wouldn't pay 250$ for a motherboard though, for such an old CPU, when you could get a 12100 and board for less:

CPU: Intel Core i3-12100 3.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($119.99 @ Amazon Canada)
Motherboard: ASRock B760 Pro RS/D4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard  ($121.01 @ Vuugo)
Total: $241.00

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I bought a refurbished g2 ssf and need to change chassis. I was thinking of switching motherboard for a full atx with more pcie slots but for the love of pete  I just can't find any motherboard available.

So I'm turning to your power guys.

Can you please help me find a Full ATX Mobo compatible with a i7-6700 cpu, that would have at least 64 gb of ram (I do music production and I need that ram), that would be in the range of 250$ cad.

Thanks a bunch!

Are you looking at used sites or are you trying to find one new? You won't find one new for anything remotely reasonable. The board is way, way too old for that.

As @Tetras said, it's probably more advisable to buy something new. At least then you'll have a warranty. You can sell your old CPU to almost cover the cost of the new one.
