Hello, I've been using XTU for about 5 years now, and a few times, the icon simply disappeared from my desktop, and I couldn't find the .EXE file in the installation folder, as if it uninstalled itself. So, I had to reinstall it anew, always without any issues.

Recently, it happened again, and since then, I haven't been able to get XTU to function properly. The program only monitors CPU and Memory Utilization, it doesn't register other system graphs, and I can't access the CPU tuning in Advanced Tuning. It's completely empty, and I can't manipulate anything, not even basic settings. I've tried completely removing the remaining files, and even tried older versions, BIOS is up to date, and Windows is updated. I really don't understand what needs to be done with this. Does anyone have a similar experience? Thanks in advance.

Slightly different, it's 50/50 whether XTU will even launch on different OS installs. I've gotten it to work a few times, but it's just not reliable from my experience, so generally if it's an option I use some other software. Since I primarily use desktops, I can have things like Turbo VCore on ASUS boards, Dragon Center on MSI boards, Gigabyte Tweak Launcher on Gigabyte boards, etc., all of which are IMO better than XTU, though since you're on a laptop that's not likely to be possible.

Check if Windows' Core isolation/VBS has been turned on, it needs to be off for most hardware tweaking programs to be able to work.

It's disabled and on my laptop, I can't access Core Isolation/Memory Integrity, the feature ''doesn't exist''

Now I also noticed that I can no longer use the overclock in Omen Hub

Have you been reinstalling the same version each time or dowsnloading again? Seems the current version of XTU has also dropped support for all mobile parts older than 8th gen.

I found a years-old version that functions properly, now I can tune the CPU. I tried some older this year's and last year's versions but those didn't work.

For anyone experiencing the same issue, just for the future, the version that worked for me was 6.5.2.40
