Clicking sound coming from my PC

SircarrotII

There is a weird clicking sound coming from my PC. It's not the fans as I turned all them off and it persists. I unplugged my AIO pump and it still happens. I have no hard drive plugged in at the moment.

could be a short of some kind ? Some PGA chips will still work with a few bent/broken pins.

also, what AIO ? unplugging the pump cable will not stop it, just that you can't monitor parameters iinw.

When you unplugged the AIO, did you just unplug the PWM cable or did you remove power (SATA / MOLEX) as well?

At first I thought it was an hdd but you said you don’t have one so I don’t know what that could be. Is it the little thingy that secures the cpu in the slot. By the way, does that have a name? It could also be that the mobo isn’t screwed in fully, it is probably something shaking in the system.

I have an LGA chip and the last time I checked, there were no bent pins.

I unplugged the PWM cable and when I plugged it back in I heard water rushing so it was definitely off.

I have a contact frame and I've had it for a while so I don't know.
