Hello everyone. I'm using a Logitech G500.My usual DPI setting is 2100.So I decided to buy a mousepad.I usually play FPS games like BF4 and Titanfall. And I found Steelseries Qck MSI Gaming edition and love it. Do you think it is the right option to me? And another question: What's the difference between qck+ and qck?

2100 is a pretty high DPI

I normally use about 1000 on mine and its a 1440p monitor. I recommend using a lower DPI, you will be so much more accurate

The QCK are very good mouse mats though. I believe the QCK+ is smoother to allow for lower smoother DPI settings

Oh it also said that part about lower DPI, perhaps it is just a larger size.

I use the Logitech G240 cloth pad because I love the size. Prefer big mouse mats over small ones as I tend to game at low sensitivity and require more space

I would always recommend using a mouse pad. Gives you uniform glide and tracking. It's also another way to customize your mousing experience; you can go for a smooth and fast glide with something like hard plastic mouse pad or for a more controlled experience with a cloth pad. A cloth pad also makes the mouse feet last longer.

Which is the best for me then?

Depends what you want. The QcK series is good as cheap basic choice. Roccat Taito is quite similar but offer slightly better glide. PureTrak Talent is another one that people seem to recommend often. If you want the maximum glide then consider something like SteelSeries 4HD/9HD (hard plastic, can wear out feet faster, just breathing on the mouse makes it move). There are also hybrid pads like Zowie P-TF Speed, which I myself use and love.

2100 is not high at all, people use what ever feels best for them. There is no reason for him to lower his DPI setting. You're the exception, 1000 DPI is for sniping, not normal use.

OP, I've been using a Razer eXactMat for 8 years now. The current version of which is called the Razer Vespula. It's a reversible hard mousepad with a nice wrist pad.

I wasn't saying he was wrong, or that he has to change it. And obviously screen size, FOV, surface, grip type and personal feeling all come into play too

Just I have the same mouse and it has some annoying and well documented acceleration issues that you can sort of fix by using a lower DPI and setting a higher in game sensitivity

I know some people change the windows sensitivity which can add positive or negative acceleration depending on its position

I was trying to be helpful not elitist

Do you usually just play on a hard surface or something? Personally, I couldn't play a first person shooter without a mouse pad. Well, not comfortably at least.
