old motherboard bios

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

You wouldn't have to upgrade the BIOS to run Windows 11. BIOS updates generally don't have any impact on the system running an OS correctly or not.

i have a question regarding my old motherboard a (gigabyte b450m ds3h) in its current state it runs perfectly but only on windows 10.

if i were to upgrade to the newest bios (the mb has never been updated) would it be able to handle windows 11 ?

I'm pretty sure your board supports windows 11. Just make sure you have fTPM and Secure Boot enabled in the bios and you should be good to go.

If your bios version is F62 or higher it should be enabled by default.
