Nvidia - RGB level selection for desktop/game

Help is needed from someone who knows a thing or two about Nvidia and HDMI colour standards.

My HDTV cannot correctly display 0-255 Full RGB (PC Level) signal over HDMI, it is fine with 16-235 Limited RGB (video levels) and YCbCr because that is inherently video level colour space. It has no setting for black level.

My PC is connected to this HDTV because I am using XMBC to watch my movies (tv does 24p :)) and I am currently using YCbCr444 setting in the Nvidia driver settings to get the correct black level sent across, all is well and good in movie land, because movies speak YCbCr natively.

For gaming/desktop use however which operates natively in the RGB space, setting the driver to send the TV RGB will send it 0-255 only and crush the blacks/mess up the colour.

I want to know if there's a way of changing the RGB level over HDMI for Nvidia cards (mine's a 670) without having to use the YCbCr colour space in games and desktop, the 'change video colour settings' tab in the driver that is the only place I can find an RGB level selection has no effect in 3D apps or at the desktop.

Any help appreciated, I'm just using YCbCr444 for everything at the moment, my monitor is connected with DVI using RGB and all is fine and dandy with that.

Sorry if this is the wrong section but I couldn't decide between Displays, Graphics Cards or Troubleshooting. :(
