First pc build - 7950x3d or 7800x3d for gaming and Autodesk Inventor?

Skylord_x_

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MW3, Apex, Autodesk Inventor

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi, I'm building a PC for the first time and I need some advice.

I am looking for a PC that is good for both gaming and Autodesk Inventor. I need some advice when it comes to choosing a CPU and whether these specifications look decent overall. I'm not 100% locked on AMD, but that's what I came up with when I did my research.

Also any recommendations when it comes to cooler?

Thank you in advance.

(I already have the monitor but might get 4k.)

Hello.. I was looking over you build list and I made some changes. I was able to save you about $400. It seems as if you were going for a bit of a White Themed Build. So I went with that. I would go for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It is on sale right now and I would get one before the price goes back up to normal which I think is an extra $150. For the CPU Cooler I went with the NZXT Kraken that has a LCD Screen to show you the CPU Temps. So I went with an NZXT Theme Build. With the RGB you can choose whatever Colors you like. See Pic below for an example.

Let me know what you think.

If you have any questions please let me know. I can be reached here or I can be reached much quicker on Discord 24/7. Here is my Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 I am also available if you need help before, during, or after the Build process on Discord through Voice or Video Chat.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to respond and make a suggestion.

Sorry, it went a bit fast when I posted, but I live in Norway.

Don't really have any preferences when it comes to color, but a little unicorn vomit is welcome. I think I will go for an Nvidia graphics card as I have read that there can be weird bugs in Inventor with AMD cards that can take a lot of time to be fixed. (I am not 100% sure)

Do you think the 7800x3D will do well in Autodesk Inventor? I reckon it's good for gaming but think that Inventor mostly uses one core. (I rarely do simulations, mostly 3d modelling) I have a Ryzen 5 5600G now and it works well. What is the recommended Ram for this processor (7800x3D)? . From what I understand, 6000 MHz is good, but I don't know what CL timing is or does.

And what is the difference on Motherboard? X670E vs B650E, will I notice a difference?

I may wait to buy the graphics card until the SUPER series arrives.
