Maybe Kirito from SAO. He isn't afraid to be the bad guy if it means helping people. He can be a leader but doesn't search for adoration. He is loyal to his one love. He is strong, independent, but at his core he seeks peace and the company of others. He would prefer to take the abuse in any fight over letting others get hurt in his place.
