Looking to upgrade from my gaming laptop Lenovo legion 5 and found this one.

CPU:Intel i7 11700F

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

GPU:RTX 3080 10GB

MOBO:MSI h510m-a pro

PSU:Corsair RMx 750W

SSD:Samsung 980 Basic SSD 1 TB

Case:Corsair Carbide 175R

Price is 1100 Euro brand new,but not sure is the DDR4 platform worth it.

This PC would be used for 1440p gaming, mostly Apex Legends, and games like Manor Lords and other city builder games.

Sadly anything with DDR5 and 4xxx series is much more expensive

First question is, is there a possiblity you are willing to build your own PC? Prebuilt pricing is very contextual depending on the possibility of building one yourself.

crap mobo to pair with an i7, would not be surprised if it does not have good turbo clock speeds in gaming due to the uncovered VRMs. 1100 euro is not bad for the GPU you're getting, but the CPU leaves a bit to be desired.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticeably improve performance past 240mm and don't improve at all past 360mm. 9) RTFM.
