I'm not a professional. But i just built a pretty similar pc with a 14600k (same as 13600k but a lil better) and tried it in cs2 mid settings and got like 170 fps 1080p with an rtx 3060 ti. You got that gpu for a good deal, so it should be fine if ur gamimg at 1080p 75hz i would be a bit worried about the cpu since you wanna play heavily moded games since it's a bit slower and takes slower memory for 100€ less in my country. The quad channel isn't that great since you can't upgrade in the future and the advantage it gives you in like 4 programs is not worth it, i would go for 2x16gb ones. The aio, i personally don't like aio's but if you like it it's ur choice (they need a bit more repaiting from my experience but ur may differ) so yea, im not gonna plan a build for ya just some advice, sry i don't have the research and as i said im not that professional. I know there are waay more talented ppl. Also forgot to add, DON'T cheap out on the psu, if it dies all of ur components could die, i recommend you choose one from the psu tier list.

,but do you think the Asus TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS DDR4 is good enough because i don't plan on overclocking

I'd rather get an atx board like the b760 gaming plus wifi MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard (B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI) - PCPartPicker and then use that extra money for a 1000w psu MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (MPG A1000G PCIE 5) - PCPartPicker Or a better case Deepcool CC560 ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case (R-CC560-BKTAA4-G-1) - PCPartPicker

12600kf + 32gb 3600c18

I just went for max value so its 260$ underbudget

12th gen i5 got some absolutely insane deals, theyre litteraly going under used prices so quite the bargain over ryzen 7000

I dont really think theres anywhere you can really improve aside from buying a used higher end z690 or getting the non f 12600k if you need the igpu (even then you can just buy a used arc gpu if you need quicksync), its already got a half decent 1000w unit and 2tb of storage

ddr5 is kinda pointless since for the 100$ extra you spend to get a z690 pg velocita and a 32gb 6400c32 oloy kit you can put that same money in the future and get a 48gb kit instead or at the very least a kit with a better ic and higher bin when those stop being overpriced so you wont have to manually overclock to hit any decent speed (>7200) like you do on the 6400c32 kit (can do 8000+ but youll need to manually tune it)

Couldn't you go crazy and buy the 12600K for 13bucks more (they are both indeed a bargain). The spare igpu might come in handy in times of trouble.

I bet you'll never need more than 32GB of Ram in your wildest dreams (on that system).

For information, I couldn't run my 3600cl18 at 3600cl18Gear1 on my 12400, I did run them at 3466cl16 instead which was fine.

I don't know Apevia, how do you know it's decent ?

Thank for the build.Tracking back a generation or two dosen't matter for me.the question is do you think it better than a i5 13500 with a b760m mobo or a 12600k with a z690 one?

Ddr4 3200 is good for me tho ddr5 in my regions it supper expensive

What country btw?

Id go 12600k since itll clock higher, you can do a lazy manual allcore oc to 5.3-5.5ghz depending on cooling (literally just set multiplier and vcore, thats about it for cpu oc), not to mention you may be able to save abit by going for a used one

If z690 is cheap go z690, if b660/760 is cheap you can also go for those but abit of wasted oc potential and undervolting will be abit of a pain
