Good morning All, 

 

I have had an ongoing issues where I shut my ps5 off after playing games my pc will suddenly stop responded and nothing will load or close. My only option when this happens is hold the power button. 

 

My ps5 is currently connected to my pc via capture card 4k60.

It is possible that HDMI CEC is enabled on the PS5. That feature enables a device to control power to other devices via the HDMI cable (like the PS5 shutting off the tv when you power it down).

I don't know how to disable it on your PS5 but at least you know what to look for now 🙂
