I bought a Acer Predator gm7000 2tb but it’s read speed is normal but its write speed is very slow and it is at pcie 3.0 and pcie 4.0 is supported and I did put it in a pcie 4.0 slot on my motherboard .

Can you take a screenshot of the crystaldisk benchmarks so we know what we're dealing with (i.e. just how slow it is writing)?

What's the motherboard?

It has a max 3400mb/s write speed as long as the cache is empty after that it tanks to 1.8 and under.

It's also basically a recycled drive that is used in a couple other itterations btw.

I can’t get them now but off the top of my head the write speed was around 430 mbps

The primary M.2 slot operates @ PCI-E 3.0 when using this CPU, so at least this part can be explained:

So I won’t be able to use pcie 4 unless I upgrade. So it won’t ever run at full speed:(

Yes, but it should still be pretty fast and plenty fast enough for gaming, so it's not a big deal.

430MBps? how are you testing it? Not copying from SATA SSD right?

look in the disc management, for the write buffer setting, is it enable?

the SSD you have there is high end one.
