LOW GPU UTIL?

'Ello everyone. While playing games like Valorant, my GPU util doesn't go above like 60%. Even when I uncapped fps and set the highest graphics quality. Is it normal for it to be only like 60% util? What do I do to make it go to 100%? Thanks.

GPU utilisation is not a useful metric without knowing the actual FPS its achieving and what that game usually tops-out at.

 

Plus as mentioned, if you have v-sync enabled then it will top out at whatever refresh rate your monitor is running at.

Probably a CPU bottle neck then. I don't have VSync or GSync on. Is a 12600k and a 4060ti creating a bottle neck?

I'm not surprised that a game with recommended specs of an i3 4150 and a GT 730 isn't taxing your GPU. Have you tried any more demanding games?

you seem to be fundamentally misunderstanding how pcs work, if you play something that's not demanding your hardware will barely see any utilization, it's simply not needed so it won't be used much.
