What makes my ram a bottleneck? But I'll look at 16x2 GB ram tho but I've already bought my parts except for the ram, Cpu and storage, My options for the CPU is only  those twos because the price difference for me is $390 to $395 And i know that the 7900x is a bit overkill but it is technically cheaper for me right now But since my main thing is going to be gaming, I would probably go with the 7800x3d plus im not sure if my 850 psu would be enough for the 7900x but I chose the Nzxt Aio cooler because i really just want it look nice n i've been wanting the same one for awhile but also i just don't like Air coolers all that much But if im going for a 16x2GB ram i'll spend less on storage but I already have my case bought n shipped to me so im good on fans and I went with 360mm Cooler bc of the case but also i really don't have a budget so its fine if i spend a lil more over but thank you

There is nothing wrong with the memory. It is a bit on the slow side by today's standards, but it's not going to make a big difference in gaming and no noticeable difference in browsing and other daily tasks.

Most new builds are going with 2x16GB but that is due to very good pricing. New titles may want that much memory, but none are going to make that the minimum for a few years yet.

The Nzxt C 850W Gold is Tier A and should be more than sufficient capacity for a 7900X and almost any GPU. I'd go with a 7900X as I think it will have a longer useful life, especially if you get into things other than gaming.

A 2TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 drive would be better than a 1TB PCIe 4.0 drive.

Budget (including currency): $2,120 ($US)

Country: U.S

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Mostly and General tasks

Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken 360 RGB

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-5200

Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB

GPU: Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4070

Case: NZXT H7 Flow RGB

PSU: NZXT C850 (2022) 850 W 80+ Gold

Price: $2,119 (including Fees)

I have already bought most of my parts except for the CPU and Storage but Really i just need help with both of those because I'm not sure if i should go with the 7900x or Stay with 7800X3D because both of them are basically at the same price rn but I might just wait til the 7800X3D gets lower in price and For the storage I'm not sure if i should go for 1 TB or 2 TB but anyways if anyone can give me some advice I'd Appreciate it

You shouldn't go less than 32GB on new builds, games are starting to use more of it nowadays.

System Specs: Ryzen 5 5700x (Themralright Assassin King) // Asus Tuf A520M WiFi // Vengeance 2x16GB 3600Mhz Ram // Gigabyte Eagle RX 6600 XT // Gigabyte P650B 650w // WD Blue Sn550 500GB Nvme // MX500 2TB  // CiY Tester84 (Outemu Summer) // Roccat Kona XP // Gamemax Trooper Case

Seems fine, but i've some recomendations: Use PCPC if u chose ur country it will search for lowest prices in most well-known stores and for compatibility issues. I'd go for 16x2Gb ram and be careful with latency with AM5 is better to not go more than CL30, also it gives some problems with higher speeds than 6000MHz so watch out that. Also unless u are going to do some heavy CPU loads i'd recommend going for the 7800X3d (maybe waiting a little bit until it goes down and insted getting a better GPU 7900XTX maybe). Also about the CPU cooler u don't need any fancy looking AiO, 7800X3d is pretty easy to cool, i'd go with the pearless assassin or if u want some more headroom with the Deepcool AK620, u could also go with a NH-D15 am5 but it won't probably make a difference, if u want an AiO for aesthetics i'd recommend u getting a cheaper 240mm one. I've made a PCPC list:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QNpDwg

With this u are 130$ below budget wich would let even going with the AiO. Also if u finally go with the air cooler check ram height. Also u maybe want to consider buying one or two more fans since the case only has got 2.

I'm sorry if i made any spelling mistakes, i'm not an English speaker.

Ryzen 7 5700G @ 4.2GHz All Core. Aorus Elite V2. 2x8Gb 3600MHz CL17. Nfortec Aegir X. Nfortec Nervia.
