need help upgrading my bios

ok so i picked up a used MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate motherboard off ebay for 20$. the seller said, he doesnt know what the motherboards current bios version is. i want to toss in a 4790k but to do that i need a cpu that would have been supported out of the box by the motherboard so that i can flash the updated bios that supports the 4790k any idea what cpu i should go for? i just need a cheap cpu so i can flas the new bios then install my 4790k

Navigate to Support -> Compatibility -> CPU

Sort by "Result" (I know confusing it doesn't say since BIOS or at least something more sensible than "Result").

7850v10.zip = V 1.0
...
7850v17.zip = V 1.7
Obviously you'd want to pick something with V 1.0, just to be safe.
