For 400 USD you can't really get anything worth your money that'll be a real upgrade compared to the 3060ti.

For $400, I don;t think an upgrade is viable yet on the new scene, so I would advocate used.

 

For new, the best upgrade is the 7700XT which is a 25-30% boost.  Not worth it for my money.

 

Used though, you can probably find a 6900XT or a 6950XT which should give a 50%+ boost making it more palpable.
