Hey, anyone know what PSU will be able to power the Maximus VI extreme board?? (as it has a 8+4pin and then another 6pin for the pcie lanes)

or is that 6pin a PCIE plug?

Most higher end gold/platinum PSUs 650W and above will have dual CPU power connectors.  You can ignore the 6-pin supplemental unless you are planning on 4 graphics cards.  In that case the AX1200i might be for you... or even dual 750W with a 900D or something...

 

Anyway, if you're planning on something like 2 GPUs, the SeaSonic X750 will be fine, it has dual CPU power and 4x PCIe connectors, so enough for two 8+8 or below GPUs.  And with two cards you won't need to worry about the 6-pin supplemental on the board, it's in a really awkward spot anyway.
