so im helping a friend fix his computer. The original problem was that his hard drive was about full, but he says he rarly saves a lot of stuff in the macbook pro. I looked at some of his folders like music and pictures to make sure he wasnt lying. He was actually telling the truth. Then i procced to restart the computer. After all that the computer loads to the apple logo then a grey bar with the spinning wheel appears. After, 5-10mins, the computer shuts off. I tried the command+option+p+r. I also did the press and hold the shift button after the system makes the start up sound. The last thing i tried was the command+ R. but none of those works.

Im a windows guy, baraly getting my hands in OS X. help me please  lol :)

Also my friend doesnt have any usb or recovery disc, I dont know if im allow to say that im downloading the iAtkos to try and fix the computer.

use Unetbootin to create live USB

You can download any of the "light" distros such as Peppermint, Puppy Linux, Damn Small Linux or Xubuntu to do that.

Unless you have another PC where you can attach the HDD to delete the temp files. Keep in mind that Windows cannot read the Mac OSX file format ~ so use another Mac or Linux.

any links or guides?

Do create a backup of all your important data.

And try to either recover/ repair your OSX installation.

If that does not help ~ you might need to format and reinstall OSX again.
