@jaslion how many amps do i need on the 12 volt rail for my 1050ti

Not much really depending on the version. Is it one with a pcie cable input or not?

Basically any good 400w+ unit will more than do. Overspeccing is fine too doesn't draw more power just gives you a broader range.

how do you know its an n1 unit the box doesnt list what kind it is?

'100-N1'

try this one (new)

Apevia Prestige 600 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (ATX-RP600W) - PCPartPicker

You can't really get a good psu under 40 bucks unless it's used (which I wouldn't go for)

if you wanna take a gamble - Thermaltake Smart 600 W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply (PS-SPD-0600NPCWUS-W) - PCPartPicker

well @filpo i cant really afford more than 50 and thats stretching it i mean most of the parts that i have for my friends build were either parts i had lying around the house or parts people donated to help my less fortunate friend have a decent pc since he cant afford one

Then the best thing you can go for is an apevia prestige Apevia Prestige 600 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (ATX-RP600W) - PCPartPicker

Which is not a horrible psu by any means, it's better than the thermaltake smart

If you really want to go used

Just as bad as the n1 the suggestions people made above are about as good as it gets for the small budget

This and the n1 are basically one power outage away from a broken pc

Produced in 2016, week 33. Already over 7 years old. And I don't see any modular cable on the pictures. Not a good purchase for $45.
