Which SATA cable first?

Go to solution Solved by Askew,

Cables or ports? Those boards only have intel SATA ports so any of them will provide the same performance.

^This, with some previous chipsets there were third party SATA controllers for some of the SATA ports, but with Z87 I think all yours are native.

Use any of them, you can configure what is read first in the BIOS settings

I have an ASUS Z87-A, and it has 7 SATA 3 cables, and I'm going to use two of them, but does it matter which one I connect to?
