So long as you have the driver package from AMD that supports that series (Polaris/Ellesmere) which AMD afaik still supports fully, the only real difference you'll see between different versions of the same card is clock speed/memory frequency, which you can pretty easily do with a good OC.

All RX 580s use the same driver from AMD, custom cards do not have a different one
