when gaming on my pc my rule is, first person use mouse and keybourd, third person use controller

I use KB & Mouse for anything that doesn't need very accurate controls.

(racing games, flying, and things)

Controller as I grew up on consoles, but once I get a decent gaming keyboard, and mouse that may change

I switch it up randomlly as am I'm about as good with KB+M as I am Controllers, and soon I plan to get into modding KB, M, and Controllers, and in the end it might just be which ever I can mod to be best for me.

I'm opposite. I use the keyboard/mouse combo with accuracy-based things like FPS and controller with racing games.

It just feels uncomfortable otherwise

Huh, yeah I think they should do that. W8 looks so controller friendly, compared to Windows 7.

Depends of the day really. Most of the time FPS/RTS/some RPGs are played with kb/m and then the rest of the games are with a controller (racing, platformers, tps). If I am tired and just want to relax I will play fps games with a controller as well.

kb/m almost exclusively except the occasional game where I prefer the way it plays with a controller (ac, racing games).

Mouse and Keyboard most of the time.

 

Controller for some 2D platformers like Super Meat Boy and Fez. Also when I have friends over I can had it over to them and local multiplayer is still a thing on PC.

Mouse and Keyboard for FPS and Online games. Xbox controller for story based games,  driving and 3rd person games.
