yeah the 2000 series cpu is bent because of the cooler i guess it works in the original pc with its cooler because i guess better mounting pressure but forget about that i wanna focus on the non working motherboard if you have any clues i tried searching for a bios update but cant seem to find it for this motherboard on asrocks official site

see thats what im wondering, if its a motherboard issue at all, does the 5600 maybe not work because of bent pins? did the 2000 series mess up the socket? as its a cpu issue im not sure what else couldve went wrong as its a pinless socket and pins are on the cpus instead.

Generally too low a pressure isnt an issue for damaging the socket as youre not, yknow, putting pressure on it, but can lead to chip overheating but still shouldnt be an issue if temps were okay before.

Maybe take a flashlight or phone and inspect the socket, cpu and cpu pins for damage, if nothing then ig we can go from there?

socket looks clear no pins bent i bought the cpu yesterday and inspected it for damage before installing i checked the pins again looks good no bent pins or anything

hmmmm, im really not too sure then, do any other components do anything? case fans running? cpu fan running? any rgb to check? PSU running? all cables properly seated? even if they look seated reseat them? I had an issue with cables like this actually where PC turned on no prob. I shut it off, moved room and it wouldnt POST but everything else would come on. Made 100% sure every cable was seated well. Nothing. Thought, no chance, pulled out 12V cpu cable and reseated and bam no issues
