ATX case W/O clear side panel

nevets13

as the title states im looking for an ATX case that doesn't have a transparent side panel honest a solid box would be preferable but just trying to block out as much light as possible from the internal componets (yes i can turn off most of the lights via settings but some of the lights are always on if the PSU is on) i would like to stay under $150 USD and im looking for suggestions.

Fractal Design cases usually have solid side panel options. Torrent, Meshify 2, Define 5/7, Focus 2, Pop. The other option being a case with symmetrical side panels and simply swap them to use the TG side on the back and solid on the front.

You could also use a vinyl on the outside of a TG side panel to make it Any Color You Like.

Besides Fractal Design, Be Quiet seems to be the only that come to mind. Would having light shining out of mesh panels bother you?

If you are open to used market for older cases from 2000 then there are other options, but not modernized to todays typical standard with mesh panels and smaller space for drives. I had remove old 5.25" bay drive brackets to reuse my old Antec 300 and Cooler Master CM690, but DIY work may not be your thing.

If you search on Amazon, NewEgg and other sites for cases, you will see some. I don't pay attention to those but I have seen several so I know they are out there.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
